Which sites does Thread Mind work on?
It works wherever you can select text in Chrome: social networks, forums, web apps, webmail, and more. Rewrite also works inside text boxes and editors.
Do I need an account?
Yes. After installing, sign in once with your email or Google. Your free 50,000 tokens start right away, and no credit card is needed.
Is my data private? What gets sent to the AI?

Only the text you select. Thread Mind does nothing until you select text and click its icon. It does not read the rest of the page, your browsing history, or what you type anywhere else.

  • The selected text (and your request, if you rewrite) is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our server, which passes it to our AI provider to write the result.
  • We do not save your selected text or the AI results in our database, and we keep them out of our server logs. We only record how many tokens each request used.
  • We never sell your data. Templates you create are stored in your account so you can reuse them.
  • We use a trusted AI provider that processes the text only to generate your result.
  • Payments are handled by Paddle, so we never see your card number.

What happens when I run out of tokens?
Thread Mind pauses until your tokens reset next month, or you can upgrade for more. Requests that fail do not use any tokens, and the extension shows how much of your monthly tokens you have used.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Plans are billed monthly through Paddle, and you can cancel or change your plan from your dashboard whenever you like. See our Refund Policy for details.
Is there a free trial?
There is no trial to expire. Every account includes 50,000 free tokens each month, enough for roughly 70 replies. Upgrade anytime for more tokens.

What are tokens?

Tokens measure how much text the AI processes: both your selection and the result count.

Rule of thumb: tokens ≈ characters ÷ 4. A short reply is a few hundred tokens; a long summary can be a few thousand.
